The Beginning
In 2004 Shane worked with
visionary producer Bob McGilpin and the finest
musicians Nashville had to offer, recording his
first professional album. Shane Powell’s
highly anticipated debut album “Ready
For The Sun To Shine” hit the radio market overseas in Europe immediately in March
of 2005. There Shane was featured on 4 compilation CD's and landed a #1 single and 2 top tens on the ECMA Charts. The album has not been officially released in the US but things are in the works for 2007 and you may want to stay tuned to your local radio station.
Shane's record is packed with future number
1’s,
featuring such writers as Mark Collie, Paul Jefferson,
Jesse Hainey and John Foster. Shane
has also co-written three songs with Pat Viglietta
and Cindy Mechem from New Rochelle, New York featured
on the album as well.
Producer and confidant Bob McGilpin adds to Shane’s depth with two of his own songs entitled, “You Oughta Leave More Often” and “Back in Your Arms Again.”
This album explodes with energy and connectivity.
Shane has been singing and writing music for
years, but this album showcases Shane’s
powerful vocal range with both upbeat tempos
that will echo in the listener’s head,
and emotional ballads that will strike straight
to their heart.
Shane wishes to thank all his fans that
were enthusiastic supporters during this developmental
journey. It is his sincere wish that this album
touches everyone in someway, this album is for
you.
Shane’s immediate focus is concentrated
on his new road band and extensive tour throughout
